My Own Projects: From Wedding Dress tulle to a full flirty skirt

I love deconstructing dresses and making something new from them. My cousin resently gave me her dress and I made an awesome Tulle skirt from it! I will be doing a photo shoot with 'Michelle Liane Photography' some time in early 2015, but for now here it is.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! XOXOX

Alterations: Buttons

I recently updated and fixed three coats for a client with Buttons. I love this idea, by just changing something so simple you can have a brand new look.

My Own Projects: A Princess Costume

I was asked and I offered, to make my nieces Halloween costume. I knew, because she loves frozen, it should be a princess-esque dress, so that is what I did.  She's two but she loved it and I treasure those excited moments! I hope you enjoy!

My Niece as Elsa.

I hand painted all the snowflakes.

Off the Walls Millinery Course

Last week I took a Millinery (Hat) Making Course with Off the Wall in Stratford. I loved every minute of it and wanted to share with you a bit of my experience. The hands on instruction and the amazing new sewing techniques I learned, along with finishing a beautiful hat, I am now able to offer fascinators and hats to my brides and other clients.

Take a look and see what other awesome courses Off the Wall offers!

Dress Making Report: The Maid of Honour dress and matching Tie

This is the Maid of Honour dress and matching tie that I made recently for a client. I was so delighted to make this dress, the colour is amazing and it fit her figure perfectly. The tie was my very first attempt at making one, but it also worked out very well.

Dress Making Report: The Prom Dress

I recently made a prom dress for a delightful young girl. It was an absolute joy for me to create this dress from scratch for her. I had never done any draping before, but I did it and it turned out beautifully.
