Dress Making Report: I LOOOOOVE Gold!

Twelve yards of sparkly golden tulle was spread all over my studio floor as I began to create this ahhhhhmazing skirt for a photo shoot at the end of January. This soft yet BOLD fabric left an imprint on me ❤. Everything in my house is now covered in golden sparkles, but who doesn't love a little bit of that kind of dust!

The shoot was fantastic, I love working with like minded and creative people! Whimsical with an edge, this skirt was brought to life as the model put it on. Her make-up done by Sacha was fierce and beautiful, she has an incredible way of enhancing everything she touches. Thank you so much for including me and I can't wait to do a little something more with this golden beauty.

My Own Projects: A dress for VEGAS!

My mom and I will be going to Vegas in just a few short weeks now and I am so excited! I decided after my 'drafting course', that I would wear that dress in Vegas for our Cirque du Soleil night. But I wanted something else to wear for our dinner night out. So I drew something up, found a fabric in my stash and got to work. I love the asymmetric style, shorter in the front and long in the back. As the 'skirt' I made last summer for a wedding is just like that. This dress is flowing and light with a hint of sassy-ness!

My Own Projects: From Wedding Dress tulle to a full flirty skirt

I love deconstructing dresses and making something new from them. My cousin resently gave me her dress and I made an awesome Tulle skirt from it! I will be doing a photo shoot with 'Michelle Liane Photography' some time in early 2015, but for now here it is.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! XOXOX

My own projects: A Skirt

This is a skirt I made for a wedding I will be attending next weekend. I love how easy the pattern for this dress, it was only two pieces! Floral and flowing perfect for a summer wedding.
