Dress Making Report: A Spring Photoshoot

Last month I created a simply elegant bohemian wedding dress for a Spring Photoshoot with Michelle Liane Photography. 

My favourite thing about these collaboration shoots, is that I am given a rough idea and can run with it. Being creative is one of the best things life can offer, the joy I feel when it all comes together is just the greatest thing!

Working with so many other amazing creatives is so worth while. You will see that the beauty that comes from each of us illuminates through the moments that were captured in the shoot.

My Own Projects: A Sexy Print Dress

Sometimes while creating many items, my mind runs wild with ideas. I can not seem to help but have inspirations and make them come alive. That is where this amazingly sexy dress came from! 

This dress can be worn to work, a night out with the girls or a date with a special man. I am really excited to wear this one, it brings out that part of me that is irresistible. As soon as I put it on, I feel fabulous and sexy. Great things will come from wearing this dress, I know it! 

What I want for my clients is exactly the same thing I want for myself, to feel incredible in the clothing she put on. Because honestly, what is the point of just wearing clothes. Let them be more than that. Wear something because it opens you up to new and wonderful possibilities. To an unknown world of love and greatness!  My job is done, when she puts that dress on, at that final fitting and her face lights up brighter then the first day we met. That is why I do what I do, to help illuminate the beauty in each woman that I meet. I know that she will go to work or where ever event is and light up that entire place with her fabulous presence.

Dress Making Report: Christmas Addition

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, with loads of love and tons of relaxation! 

Over the holiday season I was so blessed to create some very special pieces for some amazing little girls and women in my life. 

While I was coming up with the ideas for these pieces, all I knew was that the little girls in my life are so full of fun and imagination, that anything I created for them had to be just that. I found this amazing fabric that looked very whimsical and mermaid like, I was instantly inspired to create the dresses you see in the second picture.

For the two women in my life that are so incredibly supportive and there whenever I need them. I had to think of something very special to put my whole heart into making, (although I put my heart into everything I create for anyone). I thought why not something comfortable and allows them to feel beautiful anytime they wear it, a kimono of course had to be the very solution. I found these beautiful fabrics and knew which one was for who right away. My mom is a light and beautiful woman who loves to be comfortable no matter what she is wearing. The long purple and floral robe was the perfect fit for her, and she loved it. As for the other, my Aquarian Mama. Well this wonderfully,  almost rock n' roll floral pattern (Betsy Johnson looking), had to be it. She loves black mostly when choosing her attire, but I knew this was perfect for her because it had such edge. I also wanted to keep it for myself because it is very me too, she was thrilled I didn't!

Anniversary Sale!

Today is A.M.E.G. Designs two year anniversary! I am so proud of the past two years and looking back at how far I have already come. My skills have grown tremendously and so has my client list. I love what I do and put all of my heart into it. There will be a photo shoot in a few short weeks to honor, creativity and the accomplishments I have made over the past two years. Thank you so much to my family, friends, clients, and followers for all of your support, I really and truly would not be where I am today without you.
